That's right grade 9's!
One thing that is great about the World Wide Web, is that there are an unlimited amount of resources that you can choose from to enhance your blog! Take a look up at the right hand corner: that is a page counter. Anyone who visits my blog can see how many people have visited my blog in total (I am of course, showing off my popularity). It doesn't end with counters! You can have objects falling in the background, scrolling mouse tools and much MUCH more. It is just like adding a regular gadget, but instead of choosing from the blogger choices, you import HTML code from an outside source.
Here are some pages to check out!

Embedding Videos
Good Morning Grade 9's!
My blog is about blogging in AICT, so the video I chose is about creating a blog! Take the time to browse www.youtube.com to choose a good video that is relevant to your blog topic. Once you've done that, follow these steps:
- From your dashboard, click "new post". This will move you to the post section of your blog, which you have seen many times before.
- Click the icon called "insert a video".
- On the left hand side, choose "from You Tube".
- Search for your video and click "select" .
- Your video should appear in the active window!
Now, add some writing to your post to help explain your video, as a reader I want to know why it's there and why it is significant to your post!
Have a great day!

Go Go Gadget Blog Tools!
Well a very good morning to you all Grade 9s!
On the dashboard > click the Design tab > select the Blogger Designer Template to find the different layout options. Once you have the layout, colours and fonts you want, it is time to spice up your blog with gadgets.
What are gadgets, you ask? A gadget is anything you add to your blog other than a post. We've already added the "followers" gadget and you should all be following your blog, my blog and your classmates blogs (if you'd like). Gadgets are added into the side, top or bottom bars--your design template shows you where your posts and gadgets will appear in the window.
To add a gadget:
Go to the dashboard > click the Design tab > Add a gadget.
Gadgets are listed under four categories: basic, featured, most popular and more gadgets. Scroll through and add some gadgets. A great one is the "about me" gadget, where you can do a quick write up about the content or theme of your blog. More questions on criteria? See the criteria page at the top of this blog!
